No one should have to go it alone.
It is rare to find a space to discuss sex, never mind seeking support around sexual concerns. I began pursuing sex therapy as a means to create space to talk without worry about judgement or being blamed/shamed.
I offer a de-stigmatizing and validating experience to help you feel supported while navigating the stickier and scarier parts of life. I seek to aid our innermost selves in feeling seen, understood, and unstuck. I support and normalise through psychoeducation, specialized training, and a deep well of compassion and empathy.
Areas of expertise:
Sex & Religion
Sexual Self-Esteem & Confidence
Difficulty Orgasming
Sexual Pain
Panic & Anxiety
Trauma
Sex Work-Allied Care
I ground my work in emotion-focused and trauma-informed care that allows us to slow down and feel the emotions we often ignore in our fast-paced society. Don’t suffer alone: let's address shame and silence and move forward with greater confidence and capacity.

Q: “Do you only provide counselling for sex related concerns?”
A: Not at all! I am a general counsellor first and foremost. I am comfortable and happy to talk about things other than sex. Topics I have worked with frequently outside of sexual concerns include: eating disorders, anxiety, transition periods, family dynamics, friendships, etc
Q: “What is your cancellation policy?”
A: Your session time is held exclusively for you. In the case of a cancellation within 48 hours of your appointment, your credit card will be charged the full fee.
Q: “What can I expect a sex therapy session to look like? How is this different than “normal” therapy?”
A: I like to describe sex therapy as good old basic therapy but with specialised knowledge in all areas sex related that the therapist is privileged to be able to share.
I also describe what sessions might look like with a metaphor: Imagine therapy is a desktop screen on your computer, the sexual concerns make up a few small pixels on the screen. While these small sexual pixels may feel incredibly distressing and may feel incredibly big, it is my job to zoom out and look at the whole screen, take in all the pixels, in order to understand what is causing distress within those few sex related pixels.
Therefore, sex therapy is much like all other kinds of therapy. Together we will explore aspects of your life that do and do not include sex as all information is incredibly relevant to myself as the clinician trying to understand where the issues arose, what is keeping the issues in place, and how we can together find and create solutions to provide you with more joy, empowerment, and relief.
Q: “Can I work with you if I do not reside within BC or ON provinces?”
A: Due to regulations in different provinces and countries I am only able to work with clients who currently live or have a permanent address in BC or ON, Canada or one of the unregulated provinces (i.e., Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Saskatchewan, Yukon, and Nunavut).
Q: “Is my session confidential?”
A: Yes, your session is confidential and all information is stricly held in confidence. However, there are limitations such as risk of harming others, risk of harming self, risk of child abuse, if I recieve a supenoa from a court of law.
